The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Examination 2024 across all its regional offices, including CR, NR, MPR, and others.
2. SSC JHT 2024 Eligibility & Vacancy Details
2.1 Age Limit (as of 01 August 2024)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age Relaxation: As per SSC JHT 2024 Recruitment Rules
2.2 Vacancy Details: Total 312 Posts
2.3 Post Name & Eligibility Criteria
2.3.1 Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)
Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject OR
Master’s Degree in any subject with English Medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level.
Recognized diploma/certificate in translation or 2 years of translation experience.
2.3.2 Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ)
Same eligibility criteria as above.
2.3.3 Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) / Junior Translation Officer (JTO) / Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations
Same eligibility criteria as above.
2.3.4 Senior Hindi Translator (SHT) / Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations
Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject OR
Master’s Degree in any subject with English Medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level.
Recognized diploma/certificate in translation or 3 years of translation experience.
3. How to Apply for SSC JHT 2024 Online
3.1 Step-by-Step Guide to Fill the Application Form
One-Time Registration (OTR): Candidates must complete one-time registration (OTR) on the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in) before applying.
Online Application Submission: Submit the application form between 02 August 2024 to 25 August 2024.
Live Photo Upload: The application process now requires a live photo upload using a webcam or through the MySSC App. Ensure:
A clear front-facing photo
A light or white background
Document Verification: Keep scanned copies of:
